Welcome Brooklyn and Nada
Clear Lake Physical Therapy & Rehab Specialists (CLPTRS) is thrilled to introduce two new members to their dedicated team: Brooklyn Sandow and Nada Abouelnaga. Both bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a shared passion for patient care, enhancing our mission to restore human performance.
Brooklyn Sandow’s journey with CLPTRS began during her undergraduate internship in 2020. She returned for her final physical therapy internship in the spring of 2024, where she further solidified her commitment to the field and the clinic. Growing up in Boyceville, WI, Brooklyn was a three-sport athlete, participating in volleyball, basketball, and softball, experiences that sparked her passion for physical therapy following her own sports-related injuries.
Brooklyn pursued her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN, followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the same institution. Her interests in physical therapy are diverse, including orthopedic conditions, geriatrics, and pelvic health. Brooklyn’s personal experiences with physical therapy have deeply influenced her career choice, inspiring her to help others achieve similar rehabilitation successes.
Now residing in Ridgeland, WI, with her husband and dog, Brooklyn is excited to work in a rural town. She looks forward to building meaningful connections with her patients and spending time with her family at their cabin in Birchwood, WI.
Nada Abouelnaga joins CLPTRS with a rich background and a unique perspective. Originally from Alexandria, Egypt, Nada has always aspired to be a physical therapist, a dream that led her to Concordia University in Saint Paul, MN, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and later her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Nada completed her final clinical rotation at CLPTRS, where she discovered a supportive and welcoming environment. “I was surrounded with love and support from everyone I worked with,” Nada recalls. “CLPTRS felt like a family, and I wanted to be part of this family.” Nada appreciates the community’s warmth and openness, enjoying the unique connections that come with small-town life.
At CLPTRS, Nada will be working with patients in Amery, Turtle Lake, and Clear Lake. She brings expertise in various treatment modalities, including dry needling, a technique she describes as a deep tissue massage that targets muscle tension and enhances healing by improving blood flow. The monofilament needles used cause very little to no pain because they are so small. In fact, you’re more likely to be sore from your tight and knotted muscles releasing tension.
Outside of work, Nada loves spending time in nature, watching sports, and playing volleyball. Since most of her family lives in Egypt, she travels home a couple of times a year to visit. After living in the US for 8 years and recently moving to Wisconsin, she is eager to explore the outdoor activities our state offers and continue building relationships with the community.
CLPTRS is delighted to welcome Brooklyn Sandow and Nada Abouelnaga to our team. Call us to discover how we can serve you! 715-263-4110.
